About

Hayley Solich

“WHAT DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO SAY ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU DIE?” ASKED HAYLEY’S HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER.

This question resonated within her and she made a personal goal to leave an indelible imprint of her life in the earth. So began her quest…

As a young woman she thought that leaving an imprint meant she had to be the brightest shining star on the entertainment scene and so set off to pursue a career in the performing arts in Sydney, 1985. She studied performing arts full-time at the International Institute for Creative Ministries, graduating with a Diploma in Creative Ministries (Dance) in 1989.

From there she moved to Perth in 1990 and commenced work with Moving Images Performing Arts Company, achieving her dreams by age 23, where she received a standing ovation at Perth Town Hall from a crowd of 15,000. With the windup of the company in 1991, she realised that as exciting as it was, the performing arts was an unsteady income provider and reinvented herself as a business woman.

Using the Public Service as a stepping stone, she sucked the marrow out of every opportunity she was presented, be it hanging off cliffs with teenagers or touring the State promoting the State Crime Prevention Strategy (a $500,000 funding initiative that she Coordinated in 1995).  Hayley was determined to give her best to every situation and was rewarded with promotions, rising from Level 1 to Level 4 in 3 short years, and all without a formal qualification.

SIMPLY INSPIRATIONAL!

When she married in 1996 and children quickly followed, Hayley soon realised that life had a few hard lessons for her to learn. She started a home maintenance business with her husband after her third child, then had to close the business due to the birth of her fourth child. Post natal depression quickly followed due to being tired, isolated, in financial hardship and having the care of four children under five years. Although these were bleak months in her life, she says they were the best learning days.

After experiencing an epiphony, Hayley again transformed her life by getting a job as an Employment Consultant working for PVS Workfind in Perth. This was a role in which she excelled. Promoted within 9 months to a senior role after entering an industry where she had no real experience, Hayley received four awards for high achievement ranking her in the top 4 out of 40 consultants for a high ranking Job Network provider. Funnily enough, it also gave her a use for her penchant for reading the vacancies columns of the newspaper, a practice she’d had for years!

Following this, Hayley ventured into network marketing, then turned her hand to training when she surrendered to “the call” of her life, to be a motivator of others. Through her employment consultancy experience, she realised that her greatest joy was in helping others to achieve success. So she trained as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor and obtained her Small Business Management qualification, then commenced her training career, which has been littered with many successes, including one of her students being receiving an award for Best Student in the Well Program because of his incredible progress under her tutelage.

In 2006, Hayley co-founded and established Pearls Women’s Magazine, a professional standard women’s magazine in Perth, Western Australia. She achieved this feat whilst working as a Casual Lecturer for TAFE where she delivered 19 workshops in 9 months and a 14 week, 3 evenings a week course. Through this experience, Hayley learned the value of telling people’s stories, of recognising their journey and the desire to be influential with women was birthed. She also learned how to time manage effectively.

In 2007, Hayley resigned from the magazine and founded Up Front Training & Motivation and also Women Can International Inc, an innovative association that helps women to find and take the next step in their journey.

In 2008, she completed a stint as a Radio Announcer with 89.7FM Radio hosting The All Things Women Radio program.

In 2009, Hayley rebranded as The Creaticians, a business focused on helping people to grow so they can grow their business, providing micro to medium businesses with Business Training, Mentoring and Support Services (graphic design, website customisation, marketing strategies and business planning) and is supporting businesses and individuals to achieve their dreams. She is also a Feature Writer and the newly appointed Assistant Editor for national Australian magazine, Finally at 40 Life Begins.  Hayley is still the current Chairperson of Women Can International Inc where she is making a difference in the lives of women.

An extraordinary person, with the ability to ‘make things happen’ and to creatively problem solve, Hayley has been described as simply “amazing”!
