“It was so exciting to work with Yvonne Hale-Chance and Janie Sims from the US and all the other wonderful preachers and musicians. I experienced a deeper level of prophetic anointing, both in worship and preaching, especially after the two-day Revival Fire Australia Prophetic Retreat. Following are some stories about each of the events.”
Healing Encounter Narrogin
“This ministry trip reminded me to do the work of the Gospel. To go into the highways and the byways and to share faith. From the Air B&B host who initially was so resistant to God, but whose heart was softened by a prophetic dream I received to the ladies I met at the checkout and the people on the streets, I saw that God is calling us to connect. It was wonderful to work with Janie from the US, who is fearless in her evangelism. She boldly approached anyone and even in the face of rejection continued to pour out God’s love and to share about Him. I felt God was waking my heart up, like I had been in a bit of a slumber and He was reminding me of how excited and committed I had been in the past to love and worship Him.”
Revival Fire Australia Prophetic Retreat
The two-day Prophetic Retreat was spectacular! Two extremely full days of God’s presence, with manifestations of His Spirit and prophetic activations of His people.
About the Friday Session Hayley writes:
“Day 1 we really had to press in to break through. It felt like hard ground. But we persisted, through worship and multiple speakers breaking up the fallow ground, softening the hearts. This was an integrated worship and preaching approach. In the evening, we set our hearts to extravagantly worship God and experienced a huge breakthrough in the Spirit.
“Over the two days, I shared the worship platform with Mary and Rob from Rockingham Well and Linda from Geraldton. It was so beautiful how we were able to dovetail together. We developed a deep respect for how God connects us, heart-to-heart. Sarah and Emily, my daughters, joined me in the worship team, with Andy doing the sound and singing at the retreat for most of the first day.
“In the evening worship session, we just seemed to get our open heaven. At one point, I abandoned the keyboard to take up a piece of silver cloth and dance with it while Rob and Mary were ministering. People were dancing and singing and experiencing God all over the hall. There was great joy in the house!
“Then Sarah, my 21-year-old daughter, got up and sang, an exultant version of So Will I. Her voice soared as it has never soared before…it was a truly powerful moment, followed by her sharing a word that the Lord had given her. The first time that she has sung a solo in a Christian setting and shared a prophetic word publicly. God set her heart on fire and radically transformed her life. I was very proud of her.”
About the Saturday sessions, Hayley gives this account…
“I was playing in the worship and I felt prompted by God to play/sing Reckless Love. I had these flash thoughts about the love of God during the previous song, so I knew that God wanted to minister his love to us. So in obedience, I announced God was leading me to sing that song. I had only gotten through the first four lines when God’s Spirit came upon me and I was undone. I started to sob, deep sobs like a woman who had lost her baby. I can’t put into words what I was sobbing for…it wasn’t pain, I wasn’t anguished, but God just had given me a glimpse of the depth of his love and I was undone. It was the deepest encounter I have had with his Spirit. I am almost falling off the stool, the sobs are so deep. But in that moment, something broke in the Spirit and we all went deeper into God’s love. Eventually, I was able to resume playing and singing, but I was a transformed person and the anointing upon my ministry had increased exponentially. God had imparted a deeper level of anointing to me.
“In a soaking session, where Rob & Mary were worship ministering, I took up the flags and worshipped God with Ruth Marion. The flag I was dancing with had the eagle on it, symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Everyone was under the anointing, so people were lying on the floor or sitting with their eyes closed just soaking in the presence of God. Ruth had said to me that I could take the flag off the pole and wrap it around myself. So I took it off and I was dancing with it, then I felt God urge me to take the flag and drape it over individuals as He led me around the room.
“After the session, many reported that when the flag was rested upon them they felt an impartation of God’s Spirit. In my mind, I was just being obedient to God’s prompting, a prophetic faith action, hopeful that God would move through that action and that I wasn’t disturbing people’s worship of God. Ever faithful, God showed up and bombed the whole place with His Spirit.”
“The word was ministered by Yvonne Hale-Chance, Mark Edwards, Lynette Millar, Elisha Cassidy and Hayley Solich. It felt like a building being built, with each preacher laying one brick on or alongside another. Then on Saturday, afternoon, I took the platform and preached a prophetic message that God had given me about the Widow and the Oil from 2 Kings 4 (see video above).”

In Geraldton, we led a Prophetic Encounter evening that included prophetic worship and the inspired preaching. We experienced a very quick breakthrough and we were straight into the presence of God.
“Prior to the meeting, Yvonne Hale-Chance said to the team, “Don’t hold back. Follow the Spirit.” So that is exactly what I did. After the first song God gave me a prophetic song of the Lord, so I just launched out there. Then he told me to be silent and so I announced a time of silence. As we were silent, I waited. At times during that silence I got itchy fingers, because I was thinking about what the expectations of the people might be. But every time I went to put my fingers back on the keyboard, the Holy Spirit would say, ‘Don’t you dare Hayley Solich’. So I just had wait and see what God would do. The silence stretched for quite some time. Eventually we started the next song and experienced the glorious heights of exultant worship in the throne room.
“During the worship, God was working in and through our team to lead the people into greater unity, to break them out of the mindset of thinking they needed God to show them everything before they would be willing to step out in faith and to liberate them from the hold of their past experiences. It was 3 hours of glory, praying for release and worshipping God. After Yvonne preached a powerful word, I felt to sing the song, Man of Miracles. I have sung this song many times but this time it was different. The song had new meaning and new anointing. And it brought an openness in the hearts to go deeper. Yvonne and others prayed for those who came forward and many were released through the prayer and prophetic ministry.
“It was 3 hours of bliss in the presence of Jesus!
“Thank you to all of our friends and supporters who prayed. In terms of the worship, I have never felt a prophetic anointing as strong as in that meeting.”
Our team have been invited to come back and minister in Geraldton again in 2019 – God willing. 🙂
